PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive assist system capable of providing appropriate drive assist through object detection.SOLUTION: A drive assist system for providing drive assist by detecting an object around a vehicle, detects the object around the vehicle (S10); detects the object on the basis of a result of the detection (S12); determines whether the object satisfies a moving object determination condition (S14); determines whether the object determined to satisfy the moving object determination condition satisfies a road continuous structure determination condition (S16); recognizes the object determined not to satisfy the road continuous structure determination condition as a moving object (S22); recognizes the object determined to satisfy the road continuous structure determination condition but determined to be detected in a visual recognition difficult area as the moving object (S22); and recognizes the object determined to satisfy the road continuous structure determination condition and determined not to be detected in the visual recognition difficult area as a road continuous structure (S20). |
