PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas detector capable of obtaining at an early stage a state where a gas concentration can be measured after the application of power.SOLUTION: This gas detector has control means having a function of performing a zero output correction processing which is repeatedly executed for each time interval of a unit time in the case that a variation amount of a sensor output value for each unit time range which starts at the time of acquiring the sensor output value is the amount within the allowable range when it is detected that the sensor output value of the gas sensor has a magnitude in an allowable range with respect to a set zero output value during a period of a warming up process of the gas sensor for detecting concentration of a gas to be detected which is executed following an activation of the gas detector on the basis of a change of a resistance value of a resistance heating element when the gas to be detected is brought into contact with the surface of a gas sensitive part in a state heated by the resistance heating element. |
