PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage for a thrust roller bearing which can increase a lubricant, and can improve oil passage performance under a constriction of a dimension which is adapted to compactness and a high load, and the thrust roller bearing using the cage.SOLUTION: A cage 9 for a thrust roller bearing which is formed into an annular shape, and radially holds a plurality of pieces of rollers 8 in a circumferential direction is constituted of a plurality of pieces of independent roller receiving parts 11 which are radially arranged in a radial direction at equal intervals in a circumferential direction, and a plurality of pieces of grooves 17 which are formed into a radial shape in the radial direction, and recessively arranged between the adjacent roller receiving parts 11 in the circumferential direction. An end part 20 of the groove 17 at an outside diameter side is formed small in diameter smaller than an end part 13 of the roller receiving part 11 at the outside diameter side, and an outside diameter of the cage is formed into an irregular shape as a whole. |
