PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a starter capable of reducing vibration and noise generated at a time of actuating the starter.SOLUTION: A starter comprises: a motor 1 generating a rotation torque; a sun gear 21 formed in a motor rotary shaft 12; an internal gear 23 installed in a front frame; a planetary gear 22 engaged with the sun gear 21 and the internal gear 23; a planetary gear mechanism 2 that includes a planetary gear pin rotatably supporting the planetary gear 22 and a carrier 24 holding the planetary gear pin; a one-way clutch 3 disposed in an axial direction of the motor 1 and transmitting a driving force of the motor 1 to a pinion 5 in one direction; and the pinion 5 integral with an inner part of the one-way clutch 3 and engaged with a ring gear of an engine, a round hole being formed in an axially central portion of the carrier 24, and a front end portion of the motor rotary shaft 12 being rotatably supported via a slide bearing, and the starter being configured so that a shaft plate 20 is provided between the motor rotary shaft 12 and the carrier 24. |
