PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery in which an additive agent is included, effect of the additive agent is exhibited to the full, and excellent battery characteristics can be expressed until the end of the battery life.SOLUTION: Provided is a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having an electrode body, a nonaqueous electrolyte, and an additive agent A. A separator has a polyethylene-made porous base material. A positive electrode has a positive electrode current collector, and a positive electrode active material layer which is provided on the positive electrode current collector and opposite to the separator. Then, when the most frequent hole pore diameter of the porous base material is r (nm) and the distance between the porous base material and the positive electrode active material layer is d (μm), the formula: d>-5.6×10×r+5.4 is satisfied. |
