PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method of a reflective display device, by which fluctuations in a gate threshold can be suppressed.SOLUTION: The driving method includes: an image erasure step of erasing an image displayed in a display region by controlling a potential of a source electrode in a plurality of thin film transistors to a first potential or a second potential while holding a potential of a gate electrode in the plurality of thin film transistors to an on-potential throughout the erasure period; and an image writing step of controlling a color of each unit pixel to display an image in the display region by sequentially turning the gate electrode of the plurality of thin film transistors to the on-potential and controlling a potential of the source electrode of each thin film transistor. The driving method further includes a gate threshold adjustment step of setting an adjustment period to control a potential of the gate electrode in the plurality of thin film transistors to an off-potential corresponding to an off state of the thin film transistors. |
