PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire that can efficiently execute control for matching the brightness of another luminaire.SOLUTION: A luminaire 110 having a controller 115 and a light emission unit 120 which lights according to the control of the controller 115 comprises a measuring unit 140 for measuring the length of an accumulated lighting time of the light emission unit 120; a storage unit 130 for storing first information 131 representing the length of the accumulated lighting time measured by the measuring unit 140 and time association information 135 representing the relationship between the length of the accumulated lighting time and the brightness of the light emission unit 120; and an acquiring unit 114 for acquiring second information 231 representing the length of an accumulated lighting time in another luminaire. The controller 115 controls the light emission unit 120 so as to approach the brightness of the light emission unit 120 to the brightness corresponding to the second information 231 by using the first information 131 and the time association information 135 stored in the storage unit 130 and the second information 231 acquired by the acquiring unit 114.
