PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for fixing a swirl pot to the inside of a fuel tank.SOLUTION: There is provided a swirl pot comprising a body having at least one fitting part 72, 73 projecting to a radial direction, and there is also provided a method for fixing a swirl pot to the inside of a fuel tank by blow molding, comprising: a) a step where a parison 2 is introduced into a mold 1 in such a manner that the swirl pot is surrounded by the parison 2 in a molten state; b) a step where at least one movable insert 4a, 4b are moved so as to contact the parison 2 with the fitting parts 72, 73; c) a step where some of the molten parison 2 is locally folded up on the fitting parts 72, 73; d) a step where mold 1 cavities 1a, 1b are moved to the final closed positions to close the mold, and the parison 2 is expanded; e) a step where the movable inserts 4a, 4b are moved to the back direction; f) and a step where the mold 1 is opened. |
