PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple dwelling house intercom system in which a habitable room master unit transmits a message after awaiting the completion of shift to a broadcasting mode.SOLUTION: A habitable room master unit 2 includes a master unit control section which transmits a fire signal to a controller 5 when a signal of a fire sensor 6 is received. The controller 5 includes a controller CPU 52 which sends a broadcasting command for shifting to the broadcasting mode to a plurality of habitable room master units 2 when the fire signal is received. An external broadcasting device 4 is connected for implementing simultaneous broadcasting by storing a message reporting the occurrence of a fire. After the lapse of a predetermined time from the sending of the broadcasting command, the controller CPU 52 makes the external broadcasting device 4 start announcement broadcasting about the occurrence of the fire. |
