PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a money exchanger and a money exchanging method that can shorten a time required for payment processing of currency as exchanged money, and can improve convenience for a user by reducing the number of the currency as exchanged money received by the user.SOLUTION: A money exchanger 10 includes: an exchanged money structure receiving unit 46 that receives a structure of exchanged money including, for each denomination, the number of currency to be discharged as the exchanged money outside the exchanger from a discharging part; and a control unit 22 that determines a form of the exchanged money on the basis of the structure of the exchanged money received by the exchanged money structure receiving unit 46, and controls the discharging part to discharge the currency as exchanged money in the form outside the exchanger. |
