PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a load accurately, over a wide range from a high load to a low load, on a load measurement device.SOLUTION: A load measurement device 3 comprises: a hydraulic pressure servo cylinder 9; a load cell 35; a pressure sensor 37; and a controller 7. The load cell 35 receives a load which is acted from the hydraulic pressure servo cylinder 9 thereby outputs an electrical signal. The pressure sensor 37 can detect hydraulic pressure which is information related to the load from the hydraulic pressure servo cylinder 9. The controller 7 selects the load cell 35 when the load is a high load, selects the pressure sensor 37 when the load is a low load, for measuring the load generated by the hydraulic pressure servo cylinder 9. |
