PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixation device which resolves the leakage of a lubricant from an end of a fixation member, a slip phenomenon of a recording medium caused by the increase of drive torque, and the like, to alleviate the reduction in a lubricant due to heating, and to be capable of supplying a lubricant stably to an inner surface of the fixation member.SOLUTION: A fixation device 200 includes: a fixation member 201 that is an endless belt; a heat source 202 that heats the fixation member; a pressure member 203 that is opposite to the fixation member; a nip forming member 206 that is provided inside the fixation member and forms a nip part N by facing the pressure roller; and a slide member 210 that is provided between the fixation member and the nip forming member in at least the nip part. The fixation device 200 fixes an unfixed toner by heating the unfixed toner on a recording medium that passes the nip part. The slide member includes a lubricant, has a larger lubricant holding capacity at an end area 210b of the slide member than at a center area 210a along the longitudinal direction of the slide member, and further has a larger lubricant capacity at a nip exit part than at a nip entrance part of the slide member. |
