PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strain wave gearing whose self-lock performance is maintained and in which slide resistance of a wave generator is not increased.SOLUTION: The strain wave gearing comprises: a fixed inner tooth member which is fixed to a housing, and has the prescribed number of first inner teeth; an output inner tooth member which is aligned on the same axial line as the fixed inner tooth member, and has second inner teeth different in the number from the first inner teeth; an annular member which has outer teeth partially meshed with the first inner teeth and the second inner teeth, has flexibility, and are formed into an annular shape; and an input rotary member having a pressing part which causes the outer teeth to mesh with the first inner teeth and the second inner teeth by pressing an internal circumferential surface of the annular member to the first inner teeth and the second inner teeth at both end positions. The input rotary member includes at a position near the pressing part, a deflection blocking part which is arranged leaving the prescribed clearance between the deflection blocking part and the internal circumferential surface of the annular member, and contacts with the internal circumferential surface of the annular member and blocks the deflection of the flexible member to the inside when a force for deflecting the annular member to the inside by a load around the axial line of the output inner tooth member from the output inner tooth member acts. |
