PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor with excellent electrical characteristics and high wear resistance.SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor has a photosensitive layer formed directly or across an undercoat layer on a conductive substrate. The photosensitive layer contains a charge generating agent, a hole transport agent and a binder resin.
