PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device capable of accurately recognizing handwriting character input.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, an electronic device includes display processing means. The display processing means displays one or more strokes of handwriting entered on a display screen and corresponding to a row that includes a plurality of characters on a handwritten document. The display processing means displays characters corresponding to a recognition result of the one or more strokes in accordance with a third direction in which characters are written, the characters being defined using a first direction of the row representing a direction in which the row is handwritten and a second direction of the one or more strokes corresponding to a vector from a start point to an end point of the strokes. |
