PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine which secures a water supply flow rate by quickly removing air inside a water supply hose.SOLUTION: A washing machine includes: a drum 3 for accommodating laundry; an outer tub 2 for including the drum 3 in a rotatable manner; a motor 4 for rotating the drum 3; a water supply valve 1 for supplying water to the inside of the outer tub 2 by connecting a city water faucet 12 and a water supply hose 10; water level detection means 9 for detecting a water level inside the outer tub 2; and control means 8 for controlling the motor 4, the water supply valve 1 and the like, and for sequentially controlling a series of steps of washing, rinsing and dewatering. The control means 8, in a water supply step, performs water supply by opening/closing the water supply valve 1 for a predetermined number of times, so that even when air remains in the water supply hose 10, a water supply flow rate can be secured by quickly removing the air. |
