PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring apparatus and a measuring method capable of improving safety property.SOLUTION: A measuring apparatus for causing a region to be examined to contact a measuring part 16 and measuring biological information includes: a pressure detection part 11 for detecting a pressure that acts on the measuring part 16; a laser beam source 21 for emitting a laser beam; a light receiving part 22 for receiving scattered light of the laser beam from the region to be examined; a biological information creating part 18 for creating biological information based on the output of the light receiving part 22; and a control part 14. The control part 14 emits a laser beam from the laser beam source 21 when the pressure detected by the pressure detection part 11 is within a predetermined pressure range. |
