PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce discrepancies in determination results due to differences in the skill levels of workers or the environmental conditions when SWS tests were performed.SOLUTION: A penetrometer 2 includes a microphone for collecting sounds in a resonant chamber installed in a screw point 10 penetrated in a ground. A soil quality determination device 5 includes an extraction part that extracts sound signals to be inspected from sounds collected by the microphone, based on the resonance frequency suited for the size of the resonant chamber, and a determination part that determines the soil quality based on the sound signals to be inspected that are extracted by the extraction part and standard data.
