PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a desired region of a tracking object can be different from an actually tracked region.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic transmitting/receiving part 102 transmits an ultrasonic wave to a blood vessel and receives a reflection wave. A setting part 232 sets a signal range in which a signal on the movement of a blood vessel wall of the blood vessel is included of reception signals of the reflection wave acquired at a first timing, and a signal component in the signal range. Hereafter, a detection part 239 detects a timing at which the signal component of the signal on the movement of the blood vessel wall of the blood vessel contained in the reception signals of the reflection wave satisfies the signal component at the first timing and a predetermined condition, and the reception signals of the reflection wave can be acquired, as a second timing. Then, a tracking part 210 starts tracking of the blood vessel wall from the second timing. |
