PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual type cable cutter which can reduce a load of an operator.SOLUTION: A fulcrum f1 of at least one handle 2A is set on a projection piece 3 which is provided on a cutting blade 1B connected to the other handle 2B, a middle part 2Ac of the handle 2A and a rear end part 1Ab of a cutting blade 1A are connected to each other via a slider mechanism 5, and a connection point is set as a point of action f3 of the handle. Thus, the point of action f3 is set between the fulcrum f1 and a point of application of a force f2 of the handle 2A, the fulcrum f1 of the handle 2A and an angle &thetas;, which has an apex comprising a center O of a support shaft 11 of a contact point P1 between the cutting blade 1A and a cutting blade 1B are set within a suitable range, and a ratio among a length L1 between the center O of the support shaft 11 and the fulcrum f1 of the handle 2A, a length L2 between the fulcrum f1 and the point of action f3 of the handle 2A and a length L3 between the point of action f3 of the handle 2A and the center O of the support shaft 11 is set within a suitable range. |
