PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a broadcast station side which broadcasts a video content, to control whether to permit magnification and display of an arbitrary area of the video content, in a receiving device.SOLUTION: The receiving device comprises: a demultiplexer which separates broadcast waves with multiplexed descriptor describing magnification and display propriety information indicating whether or not to permit magnification and display of an arbitrary area of a video content transmitted by the broadcast waves; and an extractor which extracts the magnification and display propriety information described in the descriptor separated by the demultiplexer.
