PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroacoustic conversion apparatus including an acoustic hood of concave surface having a focus on the inside, and a microphone or a speaker arranged on the focus side, in which mutual interference of sound waves is suppressed while ensuring high directivity.SOLUTION: In an electroacoustic conversion apparatus including an acoustic hood 2 having an open front end, a cylindrical case 3 extending rearward from the acoustic hood 2 integrally therewith, and a converter constituted of at least any one of a microphone 14 housed in the cylindrical case 3 while directing forward, a speaker 4 housed in the housing case 3 while directing forward, or a speaker 16 constituted by installing a diaphragm 18 in a box-like housing 17 under that state. At least a partial space S1 in the cylindrical case 3 is filled with an acoustic material 7, and at least the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical case 3 is tapered so as to decrease the inner peripheral surface rearward. |
