PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an odor inhibitor composition for clothing excellent in effects for inhibiting odor including urine odor, and an odor inhibition method for clothing having urine odor.SOLUTION: There are provided [1] an odor inhibitor composition for clothing containing (a) a nonionic surface active agent, (b) an anionic surface active agent, (c) aliphatic acid or a salt thereof, (d) a cyclic carbonyl compound and (e) one or more kind selected from protease, amylase and cellulase which have specific structures with the total content of the (a) component and the (b) component of 10 to 70 mass%, mass ratio of [(a)/(b)] of 0.2 to 8 and the content of the (d)b component of 0.02 to 0.2 mass%, and [2] an odor inhibition method of clothing having urine odor by contacting a treatment liquid consisting of the odor inhibitor composition and water and having concentration of the odor inhibitor composition of 300 to 6000 mg/kg and temperature of 0 to 35°C with clothing having urine odor under a condition of a bath ratio [the amount of the treatment liquid/the mass of clothing] of 3 to 50 L/kg for 2 to 120 minutes. |
