PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image development toner excellent in low temperature fixability and storage stability in high humidity, and a binder resin used for the toner.SOLUTION: Provided is an electrostatic charge image development toner containing a polyester resin obtained by condensation polymerization of an alcohol component containing an aliphatic diol having 3 or more and 5 or less carbon atoms and having a hydroxy group coupled with a secondary carbon atom, and a carboxylic acid component containing a monovalent fatty acid compound having 8 or more and 20 or less carbon atoms and having a branched alkyl group; and a binder resin for toner containing a polyester resin obtained by condensation polymerization of a carboxylic acid component containing a monovalent fatty acid having 8 or more and 20 or less carbon atoms and having a branched alkyl group, and an alcohol component containing an aliphatic diol having 3 or more and 5 or less carbon atoms and having a hydroxy group coupled with a secondary carbon atom. |
