PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas discharge member for a waste storage site where a gas generated from wastes can be efficiently collected and discharged outside and the falling of the gas discharge member and the breakage of a joint portion with a covering sheet are not caused even when the volume of the wastes is reduced and to provide a waste storage site structure using the same.SOLUTION: A gas discharge member 100 for a waste storage site is equipped with a lower gas collection port 1, an upper gas discharge port 2, an intermediate gas flow cylinder 3 and a surface material holding body 5 holding a gas collection surface material 4 by being connected to the lower gas collection port 1. A gas collected by the gas collection surface material 4 is discharged from the gas discharge port 2 via from the gas collection port 1 to the gas flow cylinder 3. In a waste storage site structure, the gas collection surface material 4 laid at the at least upper side of wastes is held by the surface material holding body 5 of the gas discharge member 100, the gas discharge port 2 of the gas discharge member is projected to the upper side of a covering sheet 8 through the opening of the covering sheet 8 covering the wastes and then the opening edge 8a of the covering sheet and the outer surface of the gas discharge member are joined in a watertight manner. |
