The present invention relates to a coating composition for blocking blue light and a transparent monitor filter using the same. The coating composition for blocking blue light according to the present invention comprises dye, a resin, a photoinitiator, and a solvent. The dye is formed by dissolving a poly methacryl acid methyl stylene monomer which is a blue light blocking particle in the solvent. The resin is a urethane acrylate resin. The solvent comprises isopropyl alcohol (IPA), methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK), and ethylenedicysteine (EC). According to the present invention, the coating composition for blocking blue light and the transparent monitor filter using the same can block blue light emitted from a mobile phone as well as an electronic device LCD such as a tablet PC, an iPad, a television set, etc to prevent eye fatigue, performance degradation of a retina, and harmfulness caused by blue light. |
