PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner that can at least perform adjustment of inclination of a laser beam entering a scanning member while reducing the size of the scanning member, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An aperture 92 has a first opening which is provided between a cylindrical lens 77 and a polygon mirror to limit the width of a light path in the main scanning direction of laser beams emitted from laer diodes 611A to 614A. An aperture 91 has a second opening which is provided between the laser diodes 611A to 614A and the cylindrical lens 77 to limit the width of a light path in the sub scanning direction of laser beams emitted from the laser diodes 611A to 614A, and a cylindrical part which has the second opening formed therein. A support member has a cylindrical support part which rotatably supports the cylindrical part of the aperture 91.
