WOODY DESIGN PART AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woody design part which takes advantage of the woody materials showing light transmissivity when impregnated with a resin and has more unique and excellent designability and a new nice-looking appearance and a method of producing such a woody design part advantageously.SOLUTION: A woody design part has a surface layer part which has, on the surface, woody veneer impregnated with a resin material and provides a design surface with the veneer and a substrate part laminated integrally on the back surface side of the surface layer part. The surface layer part is configured so as to have light transmissivity, and a different material is held between the surface layer part and the substrate part so that the different material is visible from the front surface side of the surface layer part.
