PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select appropriate content data.SOLUTION: A communication system comprises: a first terminal device for generating at least one type of content data; a second terminal device capable of using at least one piece of content data; and a transfer control device. The transfer control device includes: a terminal management unit for storing a type of content data the second terminal device can use; a receiving unit for receiving the at least one type of content data generated by the first terminal device; a data selection unit for selecting content data the type of which the second terminal device can use from the at least one type of content data received from the first terminal device by referring to the terminal management unit; a transmission unit for transmitting data with the type selected by the data selection unit to the second terminal device; and an update unit for, in response to usable content data type change notice transmitted by the second terminal device, updating corresponding information stored in the terminal management unit.
