PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball screw which can be not only simplified in structure but also eliminated in high-accuracy precise processing, can make balls smoothly circulate all the time, and is reducible in a size of a device as a whole, in particular, in a size of a screw shaft.SOLUTION: Notches 14 in which starting ends 4a or terminal ends 4b of female screw grooves 4 are opened at side faces 14a, and ball return holes 5 are opened at depth end faces 14b are formed at both end faces of a nut main body 6, fitting protrusions 15 fit into the notches 14 are formed at opposing faces 9a of end caps 9 opposing both the end faces of the nut main body 6, and ball deflection passages 17 are formed at the fitting protrusions 15 so that one-side ends are opened at side faces 15a of the fitting protrusions 15, and at inner end faces 15b of penetration hole 8 sides, and communicate with the female screw grooves 4 of the nut main body 6, and other ends communicate with opening end parts of the ball return holes 5. |
