PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motion guide device having excellent handling property and assemblability, a lower manufacturing cost, and improved operability and quietness.SOLUTION: A linear motion guide device includes a cage 4 for preventing rolling elements 3 from falling from a slider 2 not being assembled on a guide rail 1. An outward side inner face of a return passage side portion 15A of a direction change path 15 formed in each resin-material end cap 2B is a curved face 21 which is circularly curved between a return passage 14 and a rolling passage side portion 15B, and an outward side inner face of the rolling passage side portion 15B is a flat face 22 via which the curved face 21 and a tongue part 18 are connected and which is inclined at an angle α to a rolling passage 13. A curvature center O of the curved face 21 is located on a side of the rolling passage 13 beyond a width-direction intermediate position between the return passage 14 and the rolling passage 13. The angle α of the flat face 22 is smaller than an angle &bgr; formed by a straight line between the front end of the tongue part 18 and the curvature center O of the curved face 21 and an end face 24 of a slider body 2A. |
