<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head for forming an image and an image forming apparatus by which image forming time is prevented from being prolonged and in addition, an image forming in which boundary parts of the image prepared by a plurality of light sources are unattractive can be performed when the image forming is performed on a heat-sensitive recording medium held by a recording medium holding drum. SOLUTION: A plurality of the light sources 4 of a plurality of sets of the light sources for forming the head 3 for forming the image are not uniformly arranged but the sets of the light sources are respectively combined in such a way that the light sources standing in a line at intervals being at most an interval of a pixel with an image resolution (a high density arrangement) are arranged on each of the boundaries of the sets of a plurality of light sources. By performing the image forming at intervals being at most the interval of the pixel on at least each of the boundary parts of the sets of the light sources, it is possible to prevent the image forming time from being prolonged and to perform the image forming in which the boundary parts are unattractive.</p> |
