The present invention relates to a composition for manufacturing fiber based on recombinant protein including a repeated sequence derived from a frog. The frog-derived repeated sequence recombinant protein is specific protein having a structure in which a basic module, consisting of 10 amino acids which are sequentially homologous to a silk-analog protein derived from a sea anemone, is repeated 1-200 times. The frog-derived repeated sequence recombinant protein can be produced by acid extraction to have relatively high purity and can be produced into fiber yarn in a nanosize or microsize unit by artificial spinning. The frog-derived repeated sequence recombinant protein has physical properties which are unique to protein and include biodegradation and thus can be used in a wide range of industries. Furthermore, the frog-derived repeated sequence recombinant protein is important as a source material in that protein having a specific repeated structure identified from a new species of an organism can be mass-produced by using a recombinant technology. |
