<p>The invention relates to a device for converting the kinetic energy from a flow of material falling from a high point (H) to a low point (B) into electrical energy, using: a wheel (R) comprising blades (P) positioned in the flow of the falling material, and at least one alternator coupled to the axle of the wheel.
