The present invention relates to a Moringa extract having a radical scavenging activity, an antioxidant activity, and a hypoglycemic activity. The present invention can also use the antioxidant and anti-diabetic activities of the Moringa extract to provide an antioxidant composition, a hypoglycemic composition, a dietary supplement product for prevention and alleviation of diabetes and diabetic complications, and a pharmaceutical composition for the prevention and alleviation of diabetes and diabetic complications. All of the compositions can contain the Moringa extract as an active ingredient. According to the present invention, the dietary supplement product and the pharmaceutical composition can manage the blood sugar level of a patient and prevent diabetes in case of normal users.
