摘要 The present invention relates to a transformer monitoring system based on the Internet of Things to detect an operation error state of a hybrid transformer based on the Internet of Things through an infrared sensor for sensing temperature and a camera for photographing images installed around the hybrid transformer in order to reduce harmonics of voltage and current generated in a distribution system and imbalance, and to inform a manger of the same, and a method thereof. The transformer monitoring system based on the Internet of Things according to the present invention comprises: a temperature detection unit to detect the temperature in each area for a peripheral area of the hybrid transformer in real time by being installed around the hybrid transformer; an image detection unit to detect an image in each area by photographing each area through the camera installed around the hybrid transformer; a control unit to recognize an area of which temperature is distinguished from a predetermined value as an abnormal area by comparing multiple temperature data by each of the areas detected in real time with temperature data by each area of the normal state and to transmit the matched data to the manager′s terminal by matching the temperature data of the abnormal area with an abnormal area image photographing the abnormal area to the temperature data of the abnormal area; and a communication unit to transmit the temperature data of the abnormal area and the abnormal image to the manager′s terminal through a communication network based on the Internet of Things.
