The present invention provides a power supply apparatus which can reduce an error in current control and has a simple structure and a driving method thereof. The power supply apparatus includes: an inductor; a switch which is turned on or off in accordance with a control signal to control the flow of currents flowing in the inductor; and a control unit which integrates currents flowing in the switch and compares the size of a preset reference voltage to output a control signal turning on or off the switch.
