The present invention relates to a vaccine composition comprising nucleoside diphosphate kinase (NDK) protein derived from Brucella strains as an active ingredient for preventing or treating brucellosis, and to a method for preventing or treating brucellosis by using the vaccine composition. The vaccine composition provided in the present invention can be broadly used for effectively preventing or treating brucellosis since, even if Brucella strains are infected, damage caused by the infection can be reduced by NDK protein which is an active ingredient of the vaccine composition. |
