The invention relates to a connecting element (3) for mechanically connecting at least two components (5, 7) of a motor vehicle, in particular two components (5, 7) of a motor vehicle door, having a bearing collar (10) for bearing against a first component (5), having a transverse latch (17) which comprises at least one clamping wedge (15) for clamping the second component (7) against the first component (5) in a twisted final mounted position, and having a shaft section (16) which bears the transverse latch (17) and is intended to be twistably guided through corresponding openings (8, 9) in the first component (5) and in the second component (7). According to the invention, the clamping wedge (15) comprises a planar slide (18) which is designed to be in linear bearing contact (53) with the edge of the opening (9) in the second component (7) at least over part of the twisting movement into the final mounted position. Alternatively, the width (s), extending in the twisting plane and perpendicular to the transverse latch (17), of the clamping wedge (15) is greater than the thickness of the shaft section (16). The invention further relates to a connecting arrangement (1) having a first component (5) of a motor vehicle, having a second component (7) of a motor vehicle and having a connecting element (3) of this type. |
