PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon commutator in which a mechanical junction and an electrical junction between a metal segment and a carbon segment are stabilized, and the carbon segment and the metal segment hardly separate from a molded resin part.SOLUTION: In a carbon commutator, a recessed part is formed on an external wall surface of a carbon segment, a first wedge part is formed at a position corresponding to the recessed part on the outside of a base part in a radial direction, a tip of a metal segment constitutes a second wedge part, and an upper side hold-down part and a lower side hold-down part are formed so as to surround the second wedge part at the inside of the base part in a radial direction. Accordingly, a mechanical junction and an electrical junction between a metal segment and a carbon segment can be stabilized, and the carbon segment and the metal segment can be hardly separated from a molded resin part. |
