A multi-focal eyeglass assembly has a frame that includes at least a first opening, and a lens dimensioned for receipt in the first opening. The eyeglass assembly further includes a measurement system having multiple indicia on at least one of the frame and the lens that aid in taking measurements of the location of the eyes relative to the frame/lens when the frame is mounted on an associated user. The associated method of obtaining precise measurements for manufacturing a multi-focal eyeglass includes providing a frame that includes at least a first opening, providing a lens dimensioned for receipt in the first opening, and providing multiple indicia on at least one of the frame and the lens that aid in taking measurements of the relative location of the eyes relative to the frame/lens when the frame is mounted on an associated user. |
