METHOD, DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR AUTHORIZING OPTICAL NETWORK UNIT (ONU)

Provided are a method, device and system for authorizing an optical network unit (ONU). The method comprises: receiving a first message reported by an ONU, wherein the first message carries an ONU type of the ONU; when the ONU type of the ONU is a small form-factor pluggable (SFP) ONU type, sending a second message to a master device, wherein the second message is used for requesting ONU authorization information from the master device; and receiving the ONU authorization information sent by the master device, and when the ONU authorization information is consistent with the ONU authorization information pre-stored by an optical line terminal (OLT), passing authorization. The method can solve the hidden danger in the prior art that the authorization information is revealed in the SFP ONU authorization process, thereby guaranteeing the security of authorization.
