PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a half-dry smell depressant which has an excellent suppressing ability to half-dry smell emitted from a fiber product.SOLUTION: A half-dry smell depressant contains at least one compound selected from 7-acetyl-1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8-octahydro-1,1,6,7-tetramethylnaphthalene, γ-undecalactone, γ-decalactone, γ-nonalactone, p-t-butylcyclohexylacetate and cyclohexylsalicylate which suppress production of 4-methyl-3-hexenoic acid by microorganisms. |
