PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose a light-emitting diode which includes multiple light-emitting cells on a single substrate and is suitable for AC drive.SOLUTION: The light-emitting diode comprises a substrate, multiple light-emitting cells formed on the substrate and having one side part and the opposite side part in a frame, a first electrode pad formed on one side part, a linear second electrode pad facing the first electrode pad and surrounding the peripheral region of the opposite side part together with the frame of the opposite side part, and wiring which connects the first electrode pad and second electrode pad between two light-emitting cells. |
