PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to comfortably perform an operation with a cross key without being troubled by mode switching when an area for moving image reproduction or multi-media information reproduction exists in content.SOLUTION: The display control device includes: first display control means 71 for allowing a display part which displays information to display content; first detection means 74 for acquiring selection object information to be focus-displayed the next in accordance with the operation of a key for selecting selection object information existing in the content, and for detecting whether or not the information is a tag to instruct moving image reproduction or multi-media information reproduction; and second display control means 72 for, when the detection result indicates that the selection object information is the tag, executing a mouse pointer mode to display a mouse pointer in an area for a reproduced moving image, and for, when the detection result indicates that the selection object information is not the tag, executing a key focus mode to focus-display the next selection object information. |
