PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent collision with a peripheral vehicle by forcibly stopping the walking of a user.SOLUTION: A walking control device includes: a stopping projection 31 provided on a shoe 3 to be worn on a user's foot and, during walking of the user, capable of projecting so as to come into contact with the user's foot wearing an opposite shoe 3 forming a pair therewith; and a communication part communicating with an in-vehicle machine mounted in a peripheral vehicle. The walking control device determines presence/absence of a possibility of collision between the user and the peripheral vehicle by the communication with the in-vehicle machine mounted in the peripheral vehicle via the communication part and, when it is determined that there is a possibility of the collision between the user and the peripheral vehicle, projects the stopping projection 31. |
