An apparatus for applying a substance to internal mammalian tissue is provided. The apparatus includes a member having a flexible, absorbent, porous portion connected to a non-porous portion. The apparatus may be used to treat atrial fibrillation or other non-atrial fibrillation issues with internal mammalian tissue.

1. An apparatus for applying a substance to internal mammalian tissue, the apparatus comprising:
a porous portion; a non-porous portion connected to the porous portion to form an inflatable and deflate-able cavity between the porous portion and the non-porous portion; a first lumen at least partially positioned in the cavity and configured to communicate the substance to the cavity; a nipple; a second lumen extending from a lateral surface of one of the porous portion and the non-porous portion into the nipple; and a third lumen extending into the nipple.
