Provided in an embodiment of the present invention are a low power node (LPN), communication system and information transmission method used in a heterogeneous network (HetNet) with the baseband being deployed in a non-centralized mode. The method comprises: disposing an information receiving processing unit in an LPN capable of being independently connected to a macro base station; the information receiving processing unit directly receives and processes the broadcast channel and physical downlink control channel of the macro base station to quickly acquire the uplink scheduling information for connecting to the user equipment (UE) of a macro cell, so that the LPN conducts subsequent processing of uplink interference signal elimination and signal combination according to the uplink scheduling information, thus improving the information processing speed of the LPN and enhancing system performance. |
