PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a clearance between an outer blade edge in a radial direction and an inner face of a cabin when starting up a gas turbine.SOLUTION: A cooling device 60 comprises: a compressor 77 which can be operated independently from a gas turbine 10; a high temperature component cooling system 70 which extracts air in a cabin 16 of the gas turbine 10 out of the cabin 16, allows the compressor 77 to boost pressure of the extracted air, and guides the boosted air to a high temperature component 41 of the gas turbine 10; a rotor cooling system 80 which extracts the air in the cabin 16 out of the cabin 16 and guides the extracted air to a turbine rotor 51; and an interlinked system 90 which guides the air boosted by the compressor 20 to the rotor cooling system 80 while a fuel supply to the gas turbine 10 is stopped.
