PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the occurrence of dew condensation inside an image forming apparatus at a low cost without reducing productivity.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a fixing part 5 that fixes a toner image to a sheet P; a double-side conveyance path 85 through which the sheet P is conveyed for performing image formation on the rear face of the sheet P after the toner image on the front face of the sheet P has been fixed by the fixing part 5; and a controller 50 that controls the conveyance of the sheet P. The controller 50, on the double-side conveyance path 85, can make the sheet P standby at a standby position 1 on the downstream side of the fixing part 5 in the conveyance direction of the sheet P and a standby position 2 on the downstream side of the standby position 1, and changes the standby time at the standby position 1 and the standby time at the standby position 2 according to the material of the sheet P. |
